Built in 1888 by Mr. Gaetano Romano for his wife Lucietta, this recently restored antique country property is still owned by the same family. The estate comprises 10 hectares of agriturismo farm land with easy access to the area’s main road, the SS 185 and the Alcantara gorges are a mere 500 meters away.

The towns of Giardini Naxos and Taormina are 10 km away, Mount Etna and Il Picciolo golf course are about 12 km away. At a distance of 3 km away is the nearest town, Francavilla di Sicilia, where guests can find cafés, restaurants, pizzerie, supermarkets, a movie theater, an open-air market open on Fridays and more. The closest supermarket with its own bakery, a café and two restaurants is less than 1 km away.

Thanks to the favorable location in the beautiful natural setting within the Alcantara Fluvial Park the main local tourist resorts and sites are within reach: Catania, Siracusa, Piazza Armerina, Agrigento, Noto, Messina and, of course, Taormina and Giardini Naxos.

Juicy Sicilian oranges, lemons and other in-season fruits are available from the fruit garden for all our guests.
